ZenerA: Digital Acquisition

Zenera uses entirely digital acquisition. That's just a fancy way of saying that we use digital videocamera's exclusively. Digital camera's record using component video formats. This allows us to record broadcast level images that equal or exceed DVD quality.

A lot of production houses use analog recorders and cameras based on consumer technology that encode images onto tape using composite systems that jam the color and brightness information onto a single cable. Even those videographers that utilize professional analog systems, like BetaCam SP, suffer loss of image quality in editing.

While we acquire footage in Digital formats, we are able to output our video to older professional analog systems, like BetaCam SP, as well as most any format you may need.

Schedule of Acquisition Fees
Single XL-1 Camera and Operator, hourly	$120
Single XL-1 Camera and Operator, daily	$600
Single XL-1 Camera and Operator, weekly	$2000
Basic lighting package, daily	$55

Daily and weekly rates are based on 10 hours or less per day. Weeks are 5 days. Additional hours are billed for the operator only at $50 per hour.
